If I had to describe myself in one sentence, it would be, "I Don't Think Outside The Box, I Live Outside The Box." From a young age, I loved watching movies. I loved them so much that I decided I wanted to be a film director. But over the years as I got older, it became clear to me that my love wasn't simply for movies; rather, my love was for stories. I love listening to, watching, and reading stories, but more than anything, I love telling stories. My calling in life is to be a storyteller.I have practiced and honed my storytelling skills for myself through the mediums of spoken word and content creation these past few years. I started my journey in spoken word on the local Barbadian talent show "Baje To The World Season 3," where I made it to the semifinals. And I started honing my content creation skills on my YouTube channel (LuiTheBajan), where in my last video, I walked the length of Barbados. In this video, I was the director, actor, cameraman, and editor.I currently find myself at Startwise Barbados, where I am training to improve and further hone my storytelling skills in the field of marketing so that I can utilize my skills to help other people and/or companies tell their stories.
