Since rejoining Black & McDonald in 2016, I had several assignments at the Darlington, Pickering and Bruce Power Nuclear Stations.

• Performed all QA/QC functions during the pre assembly and field installation of steam generators (OTSG’s) verifying compliance with EIT drawings and specifications, client specifications, ASME Codes and Regulatory Authority (ABSA) requirements.• Assisted EIT Home Office identifying, troubleshooting and reporting assembly and installation problems.

• Performed Quality Surveillance and inspections on several subcontractors performing field installation of piping, process equipment, API 650 tanks and Steam Generators at the ConocoPhillips Surmont 2 project.

• QC Lead for the field assembly of Heat Recovery Steam Generators at the Suncor’s Firebag Project.• Inspected field installation and repairs to ASME Section VIII pressure vessels. Prepared repair procedures, inspection reports and ASME Data Reports.• Conducted walk down inspections and prepared punch lists in preparation for mechanical completion, testing, reinstatement and turnover of piping systems.

- Field inspections, preparation of inspection and test plans, review and approval of mechanical Work Packages.

• QA/QC in the areas of welding, piping, process equipment, pressure testing, NDE coordination, walkdown of mechanical systems, inspection and test plans, preparation of Test Packages and turn over documentation for a Cogeneration Plant at CNRL's Horizon Project.

• Performed field inspections for the Restart Project of Bruce Power Nuclear Station - Unit 4.• Worked under an “owner-user” refinery quality control program for piping repairs and alterations.• Assisted engineering with prospective projects through the inspection of existing systems, condition assessments and recommendations for repairs and replacements.During this period I had assignments with the following Aitec clients: Comstock Canada, Petro-Canada and Dofasco.
