My journey in deep learning and bioinformatics began with a focus on predictive analytics, where I’ve honed my skills in Python, R, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. My work spans various domains, from genomics and metagenomics to drug-resistance prediction and AI-driven therapeutics.I hold a Master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Coimbra, where I developed a deep interest in computational biology, leading to the creation of DELFOS, a predictive algorithm for cancer drug responses, published in a leading bioinformatics journal. Currently, I’m pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Inria/Université de Lorraine, France.With hands-on experience in developing scalable bioinformatics pipelines and collaborating on interdisciplinary projects, I am eager to apply my expertise in a challenging role within the bioinformatics and data science space.
