Maintenance Controller
Current• Oversee the Branch workshop and managing the service and repair of equipment to Kennards’ QOM standard for our customers, and to minimise downtime;• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement;• Making recommendations about complementary/up sell of equipment;• Proactively identifying business development opportunities, by developing customer relationships through having conversations and asking open questions, building an awareness of projects occurring in the local area, and passing on leads to Branch Manager;• Order parts and workshop supplies- ensuring essential workshop supplies are in stock and that equipment costs are within branch budgets;• Oversee, coordinate and delegate equipment servicing and maintenance tasks, ensuring QOM standards are met;• Provide training and coaching on the service and maintenance of equipment & machinery;• Conduct everyday activities in accordance with the Kennard’s values of One Family, FairDinkum, Every Customer a Raving Fan, and Taking Hire Higher;• Demonstrate team work by working together with others in the business to get the job done;• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement;• Perform operational servicing maintenance and documentation to render equipmentserviceable in accordance with Kennards “Ready for Hire” Quality Operational Management (QOM) standards;• Perform equipment ‘check in’ and ‘check out’ inspections and processes to QOMstandards;• Ability to work autonomously and complete tasks independently within required timeframes;• Time management skills including the ability to plan ahead and adapt to changingpriorities;• Mechanical aptitude with a proven ability to diagnose, assess and rectify problems withequipment;
