Responsibilities:● Management of impactful telecom projects ● Costs cutting● RecruitmentKey achievements: ● Leader and author of a project that implemented an alternative way (USSD network, which uses the same channel of voice calls) to complete transactions in case the 3g/2g network is down on our EFTPOS machines. This project increased the total of transactions in 1%. At the time that meant an increase of transactions of over AU$5m per year, nowadays that number probably already doubled or tripled ● Leader of a machine learning project in which the algorithm learned when the EFTPOS machine was experiencing network turbulences. This allowed us to predict what operator would work better in one specific client based on the data collected from nearby clients and his own EFTPOSs. ● These measures above, along with many other measures and processes we implemented reduced the percentage of visits for the exchange of SIM cards from 6% a month to 0.8% ● Cost cutting through the implementation of processes that allowed us to cancel or pause inactive or lost SIM cards and negotiations with the four operators we worked with. That decreased the total costs of SIM cards in 66%
