At Foodchain ID, I am part of a global team collaborating with colleagues from all around the world.In the Cloud Services team, we are responsible for managing the company's infrastructure, leveraging Terraform as our primary Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool. Our services are hosted across both AWS and Azure environments.I also contribute to implementing DevOps practices, streamlining workflows for software and infrastructure lifecycle management.

My team managed the production incidents in our client (iFood).I was responsible for helping with infrastructure incidents, mainly related to AWS and Kubernetes.In this role, I helped the team analyze and troubleshoot issues, and I also provided documentation and technical guidance.I had the opportunity to work with several cutting-edge technologies, including Kubernetes, AWS, GitLab, and many more.

In this role, I acted mainly as a Systems Administrator and DevOps Engineer.I was responsible for installing and maintaining hundreds of physical servers in 3 different Brazilian regions, all running VMware ESXi. I was also managing a data center with 2 vSphere clusters composed of several nodes using VSAN technology. Due to such infrastructure, Linux and Windows Server installation and maintenance were very present in my routine.I became very interested in Observability during this role. This lead me to learn a lot about Zabbix and Grafana, which were used to monitor hundreds of servers and applications.During my time in this position, I actively participated in the drive of the DevOps culture in the company. Application modernization was one of our main focuses, transforming traditional deployments into containerized applications delivered by CI/CD pipelines.I was also responsible for the services running on AWS cloud, specially the ECS cluster.In the meantime, I helped with the administration of SQL Server and Postgres databases.
