Hello! I am Lujain Zulaikha Thayyil, a passionate and registered architect from India. I spearhead design innovation as the Design Director at ZUARDE, based in Kozhikode, Kerala. My architectural journey commenced at MES School of Architecture. I earned my Bachelor’s in Architecture (BArch) at the University of Calicut. I subsequently obtained my registration from the Council of Architecture (CoA).My journey from an intern to a Design Director reflects a blend of relentless learning, hands-on project coordination, and leadership. Throughout this journey, I have honed a diverse skill set encompassing , Architectural design, Planning, Landscape Design, Interior Design, and proficient use of tools like, Building Information Modelling (BIM), AutoCAD, Adobe, and SketchUp, among others.My tenure at Thoughtful Natives Architects as an Architect/Project Coordinator gave me a profound understanding of project lifecycle, client relations, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Now, leading the creative helm at ZUARDE for over two years, I thrive on fostering a culture of innovation, overseeing a spectrum of residential and commercial design projects, and ensuring every design meets aesthetic standards and resonates with functional pragmatism and socio-cultural sensitivity.Highlights of my professional journey:1.
