HeartAI is a modern digital platform with best-practice implementations for data, information, and analytics. These capabilities are positioned to support the contemporary digital health ecosystem, and include support for real-time data availability, rigorous health information systems, and operational readiness suitable for both system-wide digital health and the clinical point-of-care. This includes extensive data integration, data processing, quality assurance and audit, platform and service capabilities, and research-grade analytics.HeartAI is grateful for a maturing relationship with SA Health and has continued to collaborate with major implementation projects such as the SA Virtual Care Service. This has required significant efforts to ensure that HeartAI complies with SA Government and SA Health policies regarding the management of HeartAI as a digital system within the government and health environments. The current HeartAI deployment within South Australia provides a robust data services model that reconciles data from many sources including the statewide electronic medical records (EMR). HeartAI has implemented real-time observability and intelligence at the interface between ambulance and hospital services, including the development of a clinical information system and a suite of solutions to assess and understand patient flow.The HeartAI team hopes to mature as core technology providers in partnership with the healthcare system, academia, industry, and the greater community.

Data Fellow with the Health Analytics Research Collaborative (HARC), Health Translation SA. The fellows have developed innovative approaches to address contemporary health challenges. They have collaborated with the health care system, researchers, and the greater community to create data-driven insights that support the translation of research into practice. The positions were funded by the Medical Research Future Fund and the Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health (CEIH).The data fellows, who brought a rich and diverse range of skills and experience had undergone a unique induction program and had access to a range of resources including CEIH staff, clinical networks and the HARC Leadership Group an advisory and strategic group of specialists that will support the data fellows throughout their projects.

Analyst with the Lifelong Health Theme, SAHMRI, and Health Data and Clinical Trials, College of Medicine and Public Health, Flinders University. We aim to develop an integrated health system with modern and best practices in systems architecture and artificial intelligence in a real- time clinical setting. A key goal is the determination of acute myocardial infarction in patients presenting to the emergency department with potential acute coronary syndrome.

Analyst with the College of Medicine and Public Health, Flinders University, and the Department of Cardiology, Flinders Medical Centre. Research responsibilities include design and analysis of clinical trials, computational modelling of cardiac electrophysiology, studied patient physical and mental effects following cardiac surgery, statistical modelling of troponin release with cardiac surgery, mobile health interventions for physical activity, probabilistic network approaches in causal inference, and general statistical support. Contributed to discussions around state and institutional data infrastructure. Supported with grant and research ethics / governance applications. Hosted a weekly research journal club

Analyst with the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences, Flinders University, and the Department of Pharmacology and the Department of Oncology, Flinders Medical Centre. Developed computational routines with a focus on multilevel and parametric survival analysis. Combined data across varying clinical studies to perform patient and summary level meta-analysis. Developed utility software to automate analysis and apply modern statistical methods. Analysed pharmacological treatment efficacy and toxicity in an oncology context.
