I am a dedicated Civil Engineer currently working as an Asset Engineer in Brisbane City Council's Strategic Asset Management - Transport and Technologies team.As an Asset Engineer, I am working with asset condition survey projects, condition assessment and rating, and treatment planning for road, footpath, and bikeway pavements. I envisage learning and working with more road corridor and transport assets in the future; such as signs, line markings, and kerbs and channels.I have gained practical knowledge and experience in asset management and project management over my time with Council in my graduate role. I applied my skills in data analysis, Power Query, and ArcGIS in road condition assessment and developed reports for the current state of the network, deterioration forecasting and valuations.Over my studies, I developed an interest in road infrastructure, geometric design and traffic engineering. I particularly enjoyed projects involving problem solving as it applies to optimising and resolving issues in existing systems.
