In my position as Technical Support Engineer My main responsibility is to support our sales department with technical knowledge and documentation to facilitate the sales processes.I have full responsibility of the technical documentation system at the company (Including 3D CAD and drawings) and this also includes full approval reponsibility for drawings from suppliers and customers.Apart from this, the following repsonsible areas have been defined for my role at the company:- Participate in and lead technical investigations and discussions with the sales department, customers and suppliers regarding new quotes and offers.- Participate in and lead technical investigations and discussions in connection with customer and supplier claims.- Develop and rationalize the current claim system used at the company.- Work with continuous improvements especially regarding working processes and its documentation.- Develop sub-supplier relationships and in cases needed, work with necessary purchasing.- Participate in and lead projects which include key accounts, new customers and other market activities.- Make sure that the company operations are executed according to policies, contracts, laws and regulations.

At Volvo CE, I worked at the engine department as a design engineer with main responsibility for the design of D13 diesel engines in running production. Most of the work was to run field quality issues in project form which mainly meant identifying a root cause for the problem and from this create new or change the current design to avoid that the problem occured again.The job greatly developed my skills within networking and my ability to manage many separate projects at the same time. For each project, purchasing, aftermarket, production, R&D etc were involved, which meant great need for good communication and networking skills. Apart from this, a good general technical understanding and a good basic knowledge of material science and Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) made me an effective employee.
