    The Lord of the Rings: Gollum (2023)The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is a 3D action-adventure game based on the Unreal Engine. As a scripter, I was responsible for integrating specific gameplay and story-related events, triggers, dialogues as well as taking care of level streaming. A Year of Rain (2020)A Year of Rain is a real-time strategy game based on the Unreal Engine, featuring multiplayer skirmishes and a campaign that can be played both solo and in co-op mode. Working closely with the game designers and the game's writer, I was responsible for designing some missions in the campaign. My main task involved creating individual blueprints in Unreal's Blueprint Editor that triggered mission-specific logics. To enable quick balancing, great importance was placed on creating flexible, modular, and easily readable blueprints.Ken Follet's The Pillars of the Earth (2017)The Pillars of the Earth is an adventure game based on the novel by Ken Follett, retelling the story from the book. The task of the scripting team was to implement the desired gameplay sequences, as well as incorporate dialogues, sounds, and animations, using the adventure-focused game engine Visionaire Studio.Silence (2016)Silence is a 2.5D adventure in which the boy Noah tries to rescue his sister Reine from the dream world of Silence. The first nine months were part of my internship, during which time I already led the scripting team as the lead scripter. My task was to integrate the gameplay sequences, such as character interactions with hotspots or dialogues, as well as animations and sounds using an in-house script editor. Throughout this process, all scripters were not only in constant communication with game designers and programmers to ensure optimal implementation and continuous improvement of the in-house tool, but also with animators and VFX artists to guarantee an optimal workflow.
