As the left-hand of the Cluster General Manager during my management internship at Sorellhotel Seidenhof and Sorellhotel St. Peter, I took on significant leadership responsibilities, independently planned and executed projects, and gained extensive experience in hotel management. My affinity for numbers led to an opportunity to complete a trial month in the Controlling Department of the ZFV cooperative, providing me with a deeper understanding of accounting and strategic business activities.

Supported the company during the peak season by ensuring seamless operations at Restaurant Chalet before my business administration semester started. Key responsibilities included leading a team of four, managing monthly financials, and overseeing inventory control.

I gained extensive experience quickly and developed an understanding of the versatility of the role. Thanks to a well-structured onboarding program, I was fully integrated in a short time. My responsibilities included executing check-ins and check-outs, rooming, taking and processing reservations and representing the concierge service in compliance with LQA standards. I was further responsible for monitoring voucher bookings and assisted the Front Office Manager with various administrative and operational tasks.

I successfully learned French to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues. In this role, I was responsible for providing first-class service in a Michelin-starred restaurant. This included recommending wines to pair with dishes and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.
