At EHDD, I spent most of my time working on a very complex 70,000 square-foot courthouse project. I was a part of every aspect of the project from schematic design through Construction Documents and permitting sets. My contributions ranged from conceptual plan layouts through detailed security and AV/telecom consultant coordination and construction detailing. I played a strong role as the junior designer and coordinator of the interior public spaces, with great focus placed on the highly-complex courtrooms and public lobby. From materials and patterning through casework design and construction detailing, My role as the project Revit captain required me to actively manage and maintain the Revit model and firm standards, as well as coordinate BIM exchanges between consultants. I was also elected to a firm leadership role as the Staff Advocate, helping develop and improve firm culture and represent employees as a member of the HR team.

As a designer for high-end residential and commercial projects, I helped design and manage several projects. From permitting sets to materials selection to construction detailing, I was required to juggle multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced office. I moved on after a few months to join EHDD and focus on more institutional work, but am grateful for my experience here.
