Overall responsible for consolidating and the reporting of the group results of the entire Unitrans Group and included:» Bi-annual consolidation of results of the Unitrans group.» Resolving intercompany balance differences.» Preparing quarterly results presentations of the entire group to be presented to the different board committees.» Preparing standalone and consolidated Financial Statements.» Review of VAT returns of head office companies.» Preparing trail balance of head office company and liaising with audit team for the audit thereof.» Daily management of the treasury function of all the cash balances for the group to optimise the group interest expense/income.

Overall preparation of financial statements on Caseware including preparation of consolidated and group of various entities» Five year article program, completed in 4 years (2006 to 2010). Stayed on for another year.» Performed various duties from starting as an accountant in 2006 where I set up accounting records from source documents, to preparing financial statements of Closed Corporations and Trusts, to completing previous mentioned tax returns and setting up financial statements.
