- Developed mid- and long-term Production Plans for the Downstream Oil Supply Chain using the Linear Programming (LP) tool AspenTech PIMS- Optimization of finished product supply, crude and semi-finished product supply, refinery operations by varying process parameters and intermediates routing as well as product inventory in compliance with compulsory stock and risk management guidelines- Generated commitment of Supply, Logistics and Refinery Planning, Scheduling and Operations to plan implementation- Continuous assessment of the Supply Chain plan implementation and inventory development - Support in deviation management in cooperation with Refinery Planning, Scheduling, - Operations, Supply and Short Term Optimization teams- Planning representative in Short Term Optimization teams (Fuels, Petrochemicals and Bio) to capture business opportunities and handle deviations - Assessed short-term business opportunities such as varying production and supply volumes, product grades, operating modes or maintenance plans- Analysed changes in Refinery processing units, feedstock and product supply, product specifications and product portfolio regarding their impact on contribution margin

- Reviewed an Eclipse Model, assessing the model quality and suggesting improvements Studied underlying geological data and assumptions- Analysed production data to identify connected zones in the reservoir and investigate the possibility ofcommunication with a neighbouring field- Built an MBAL model to verify STOIIP and aquifer strength of the reservoir- Thoroughly analysed history matching and prediction scenarios in Eclipse- Made changes to the Eclipse model after my recommendations on its improvement were accepted- Gained a thorough understanding of organisational structures in shared oil fields and how such structures affect communication and the decision making process. Reservoir Engineering Department - In-situ combustion- Gained a deep insight into the workings of a reservoir engineering department as well as a thorough understanding of the decision making processes in an integrated Oil & Gas company- Generated production forecasts for the Lebada Est oil field using decline curve analysis- Thermal EOR with steam injection and in-situ combustion - Suplacu de Barcău oil field:- Analysed production data using OFM to identify the origin of water breakthrough- Set up and ran CMG Stars thermal simulation to simulate the effect of the injected water on the combustion front- Field trip: actively participated in production forecast meetings, gained a deep understanding of the daily activities and field management- Obtained a profound knowledge of both the theoretical and practical workings of the in-situ combustion process- Presented and discussed my project in front of the team and management

- Worked closely with the different departments, obtaining a thorough understanding of the gas processing techniques and the sulphur solidification processes- Participated and contributed actively in security meetings with the senior management, discussing contingency planning. During those meetings I identified an issue with the emergency procedures and suggested the idea of a model to calculate air reserves in emergency situations. I was trusted with the development of such a model, which was consequently incorporated into and improved the emergency action plan.- Excelled at entry-level responsibilities and was consequently given an independent project on “Job Security Analysis”, the findings of which were presented to the management and helped to improve the safety of the workforce
