In this Bachelor thesis, an energy concept study for optimization of energy costs with a focus on congeneration studies was prepared using load simulations for a major corporation. As a basis, the supply network is broken down and evaluated in a stock analysis. An optimized energy concept is then developed, in which the refrigeration demand can be covered by absorbtion chillers in the future. Decisive criteria for the company are: the minimization of operating costs and reducing carbon generation as much as possible. The result of the final economic efficiency calculation according to VDI 2067 serves as a basis for the decision of the large company as to whether the existing system structure could be optimized by the new energy concept.
