Bringing historical events closer to the younger generation.To counter the feeling that we are living in dividing society, we trust in the importance of spreading a positive atmosphere through recalling the moments that united us in the past. In the past 17th November was abused by extremists and political protesters but it is the Day of Freedom and Democracy for the people of the Czech Republic. We remind our society about the goals and victories we were able to achieve because of the Velvet Revolution.Since 2014 we have been organizing the biggest celebration of this liberation day by following the spirit of Vaclav Havel, the most important man in the Velvet Revolution and a key figure in the later development of democracy in the Czech Republic.We don‘t point out the negatives, rather highlight the opportunities and changes we can have because of the Velvet Revolution – Day of Freedom and Democracy.We recall the heroism of young students in 1989 and 1939 to celebrate the freedom they left for us!

The catch? Teams were not allowed to use money. Instead, they had to master the art of trading cans of Red Bull in exchange for transportation, food and accommodation.
