I was in charge of leading day-to-day operations when the manager was not present and I was responsible for multiple other administrative tasks.

When I was 14 years old I showed interest in entrepreneurship and I decided to start my own company. I developed applications for iOS, websites and I gained some experience with designing.

I started as a waiter in De Vrienden Live and made my way up to bartender and finally assistant manager. I had the responsibility to serve dinner for over 100 guests and had to manage around 10 people. During absence of the manager, I was responsible for De Vrienden Live and its staff. In the end I resigned to provide myself the opportunity of new challenges and to learn in other companies.

UniPartners Rotterdam provides companies with up-to-date academic knowledge and fresh insights and at the same time provide students of the Erasmus University the opportunity to gain relevant work experience by working as a student consultant during their studies. As a member of the Entrepreneurial Inspiration Day Committee, I will organize The Entrepreneurial Inspiration Day (EID). This event is UniPartners Rotterdam's yearly flagship about entrepreneurship, a core value of the organization. Through the EID we inspire students about their future. As being the external manager of this committee, my main responsibility is to find sponsors and maintain contact with them.

In 2014, I started a webshop with a friend to sell wooden watches. During this project I gained experience with managing a small company and marketing.

WoLKi started as an idea of Christian Blank, a researcher at the Dutch Cancer Institute. In 2013, Christian asked me to help with the development of WoLKi. We wanted to teach babies the sounds of other languages, so when they grow up they can speak other languages without an accent. I did not only develop the app, but I also helped to develop the concept and selling the product.
