Currently I'm a part-time PhD student at the Institute for Medieval Studies at the University of Leeds.My research interests primarily include the areas of medieval warfare, arms and armour, with a slight focus on the development of medieval martial arts through fighting manuals of the Late Middle Ages.My current thesis follows the same tone, but takes a slight detour, focusing on the neo-medievalist representation and authenticity of combat in historical video games, primarily the Assassin's Creed series.At this moment, I also achieved a Level 3 qualification in Cyber Security Practices and have enrolled onto a course on UI/UX Game Design which will commence in the near future!
