I traveled to numerous countries for both the cultural enrichment, and for official government business. I learned a great deal about working with differences in culture and custom, and was able to overcome these differences to complete the task at hand. I supervised medical logistics and personnel during the NATO Operation "Operation Atlantic Resolve" during the early part of 2014, where I established previously non-existent supply routes, set up billing accounts, coordinated with local healthcare assets to establish a chain of treatment, all while managing 6 medical technicians spread out over three different countries.Upon my return I worked at the Combined Troop Medical Clinic in Vicenza, Italy and maintained the facility in accordance with JCAHO and USAEUR regulations. I also managed 14 technicians and conducted individual, monthly counseling sessions with them to enhance performance. These jobs were an amazing opportunity for me to learn how to create plans, streamline processes, and interact with not only my co-workers, but also my international counterparts. Show less
