I am a capital markets lawyer and a Fulbright Ambassador (formerly a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Columbia Law School in New York).I am also a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Private Business Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, from which earlier I graduated with honors (summa cum laude). I also work at the Columbus School of Law of the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. as well as at the University of Warsaw as a principal investigator of the Polish National Science Center research grant. I am the laureate of the prestigious START Foundation Award for Polish Science.My doctoral dissertation concerns the efficiency of primary capital market regulations. My main scientific interests are the law and economics of capital markets, company law, and corporate arbitration.I have extensive international experience in legal comparative research. I have completed foreign scholarships at, among others, Columbia Law School, the University of Melbourne, the University of Cambridge, Bucerius Law School, and Universitat Complutense de Madrid. I am also a twice scholar of the SYLFF international research grant which I realized in Australia and the United States, a graduate of the JU-CUA American Law Program, and an alumnus of the PEPP (Programme in European Private Law for Postgraduates). I have participated in numerous expert roundtables, seminars, symposiums, and conferences around the world, including Ivy League Universities. I'm the author of multiple articles published in peer-reviewed academic journals.My ambition is to improve the legal and economic environment in Poland and the European Union. I pursue this goal not only in Academia - I am also active in the Polish Leaders’ Foundation as well as the Semper Augustus Foundation that I founded. My long-term goals include financial education in Poland and the reorganization of the financial regulations in a way that promotes robust capital markets, sustainable growth, and investor protection.In my free time, I am a sports enthusiast. I am a skiing and tennis instructor, I enjoy kitesurfing and windsurfing, I also like running, playing soccer, golf, and chess.
