Howdy!My name is Luke Bowman and I am a junior mechanical engineering student at Texas A&M University. Mechanical engineering has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and I am so thankful I finally have the opportunity to study it at Texas A&M. For the past few years, I have been learning Solidworks and Python. I developed this love for design and programming in high school, and I would love to use them in some capacity in my career if possible. One award I have received from Texas A&M is the Presidents' Endowed Scholarship (PES). This is the most prestigious merit scholarship offered by Texas A&M, and I am so thankful I was one of the few selected. Another award I am proud of is the Eagle Scout award, which I achieved in 2021. This last summer, I was an employee at Sky Ranch Camp, which is a Christian Camp for kids in Van TX. I served as a counselor for half of the summer, which was an absolutely life-changing experience.
