I am currently a Trainee Solicitor with a good understanding and a keen interest in Corporate, Commercial and Property Law. Prior to my Training Contract, I was a paralegal within the Commercial Property team where I assisted and dealt with various Proeprty transaction that included the sale and purchase of commercial proeprty, acting for both Landlord and Tenant Transactions and various other aspects of Commercial Property Law.First Seat: My first seat as part of my training contract was Commercial Property. As part of this seat, I continued to develop my understanding learnt within my paralegal role and I was able to further my understanding by taking on more responsibility, particularly with regards to sale transactions and Landlord and Tenant matters under the supervision of a partner. I developed a key understanding of Property Law and a competency to be able to deal with a lot of key issues within these transactions.Second Seat: My second seat was Disputes and Litigation. Whislt within this seat, I was able to assist experience litigators with various Commercial and Property Disputes. I was able to develop my understanding of the CPR rules and the litigation process. As part of this seat, I was also able to perfect both my legal drafting and legal writing skills by drafting pre-action correspondence and court documents relating to a diverse case load.Third Seat: I am currently in the Corporate and Commercial Team and looking forward to developing my understanding of commercial/corporate transactions by assisting with various corporate transactions including: asset/share sales, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements and various other corporate transactions.
