Migration project of company’s telephony platform Built all existing client dialplans (250+) on the new platform and assigned the correct client numbers to each one. Tested each dialplan and when ready, moved call traffic from old platform to the new one. Tested new platform extensively and raised any bug tickets or feature requests to the development team.Porting Project Played a key role in the porting of thousands of geographic and non-geographic numbers from one provider to another. Submitted port requests and monitored the port orders via an online ticketing system to ensure the ports went through successfully.New Scope for Web App Worked with the company’s managing director in defining a new scope for the UI of company’s web application that has thousands of users. Suggested ways to improve UX – changes to menu structure, page layout, removing obsolete features, redefining user permissions.Other responsibilities Assisted the Clients Team with non-time sensitive work such as setting up new accounts or users on web app and any required research for projects.

 Supported clients with their phone and payment systems utilising multiple platforms/systems. Investigated issues through a mix of looking at call logs and conducting test calls and test payments in order to see if issue could be replicated. Made the required changes or advised client on what to do to fix the issue. Escalated work to Product team or third parties if necessary. Learnt how to act as intermediary between client and developers/third parties. Enacted any requested changes to client’s telephony or payment application. Onboarded new clients and made sure their journey from signing contract to going live went as smoothly as possible. Acted as project manager for several clients. Set up new client accounts which included user creation and assigning user permissions, creating and testing payment gateways, assisting with setting up SIP trunks and number routing. Trained users on how to use payment application.

Enforced absence from employment due to illness and passing of my father. Required multiple trips to Australia and much time and energy devoted to both caring for my father and in the role as Executor of the Estate. Used time to enhance understanding of databases and data analytics by undertaking online courses on SQL, Python and Data Science with the ambition of securing a data focused job.

 Played a key role in the creation of a Motorsport Database which serves the official FIA results and statistics website and other clients in the digital media world. Tasked with validating data from data suppliers, maintaining data, data entry and research using my expert knowledge of motorsport. Collated photos to be used on website for drivers, teams, venues, and series. Played a key role in the design and UX of the website including page navigation, search functionality and what information and data should be displayed and how on the various webpages.  Tested front end environments that the data served to make sure that the data was being represented correctly and UX worked according to scope. Raised bug tickets or feature requests on Jira. Acquired a solid understanding of database architecture, SQL querying and project management.

Contributing to digitisation project, cataloguing items using collections database. Conducting research for BRDC driver profiles and for requests made by authors.

Tasked with securing sponsorship and exhibitors for the Connected Clubs stand at the Elite Sports Performance Expo. Other roles included uploading products onto website, website maintenance, compiling databases, managing social media and sales.

Worked in the warehouse in the busy run up to Christmas and worked part time for a couple of months afterwards undertaking a number of duties including packing, assisting with picking, engraving, processing deliveries and doing the stock take.

Contributed to the digitisation of log-books contained in the Caravan Club Collection. Role included developing detailed spreadsheets and conducting various research.
