Luke Barrett provides transactional, financial and corporate communications counsel to clients across a broad range of industries. Past and present clients include PepsiCo, Walmart, Sprint, Estée Lauder, Cemex, SABMiller and Vodafone.Though a generalist, he has particularly deep experience in building and managing strategic communications programs for major global companies, primarily PepsiCo and Walmart. Mr. Barrett has counseled clients on a range of critical communications matters including shareholder activism, litigation, public affairs, management changes and other complex financial situations.Mr. Barrett’s recent M&A advisory work includes working with Advent International in its investment in lululemon, Vodafone in its transaction with Verizon, Sprint in its merger with Softbank and acquisition of Clearwire, JAB in its acquisition of Mondelez International’s coffee business, Hudsons’ Bay Company in its acquisition of Saks, Sun Pharma in its acquisition of Ranbaxy, Scientific Games in its acquisition of WMS Industries, C&J Energy Services in its transaction with Nabors Industries and Walmart in several international acquisitions and divestitures.Mr. Barrett graduated with honors from Syracuse University’s S.I.
