About Luke Campbell

Luke is a Professional Maritime and Structural Engineer and has 20 years of experience working on both design and construction of complex coastal and maritime projects. He is recognised as an expert in coastal and maritime engineering and has been the engineer of record for hundreds of projects throughout his career with significant emphasis on marine, coastal and civil infrastructure. Luke Campbell is a Director of Wallbridge Gilbert Aztec (WGA), and is the Ports + Marine Lead for WGA across Australia and NZ. He has considerable experience managing multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects, with a particular interest in design for unorthodox engineering problems.Luke is a chartered engineer (CPEng, EngExec, NPER, RPEQ), qualified in both 'Civil' and 'Structural' disciplines, and has also completed the AICD Company Director's Course (GAICD). Luke is the current Chair of PIANC ANZ. PIANC is the World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure and was established in 1885 to facilitate the design of the Suez Canal. Luke was a 2019 winner of the Business News 40 under 40 awards.
