It Compliance Lead
Same as previous role, but had more managerial responsibilities. Also took part in scoping activities, remediating open deficiencies and delivering training to key stakeholders across the business. Also participated in SOX steering committee meetings in addition to frequent touchpoints with our external auditors
It Compliance Administrator
As a Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) tester, I tested, audited and assessed the ITGCs ( IT General Controls) that are in place, to ensure SOX compliance. I also acted as the SOX SME for the technical teams, delivering presentations, and being a point of contact for SOX related queries. I also conducted regular audits and reviews, and ensure various teams embedded these reviews into their BAU processes. This entailed reading lines of code, documentation and assessing application/server level configuration settings. I also used Powershell to gather information, as well as Active Directory (AD). In addition, I also obtained SOC1/SOC2 reports from vendors whose SAAS products we use.The main tools I used for this role is Archer (document repository for auditors), Powershell, AD, KNIME and have used Oracle IAM tools (ESAR) in the past.
Sox Audit Analyst
In this role, I was responsible for remedying actions needed to attain SOX compliance surrounding the JML (Joiners, Movers and Leavers) process. This has involved documenting and formalising processes surrounding business critical systems. I have also, where appropriate, streamlined processes, whilst still maintaining SOX complianceAs part of SOX remediation activities, I have also been responsible for implementing monthly audits and evidence collection surrounding Identity Access Management. This has involved stakeholder management, including gathering information/requirements, and being able to maintain expectations.I have also written, for end users, best practise guides and documentation on Microsoft SharePoint and Teams. This role has also entailed carrying out audits on Costa’s Active Directory and SharePoint instances, and flagging any remedial steps required to achieve and maintain compliance.
Idam Engineer
I was responsible for the JML (Joiners, Movers and Leavers) function. For 3rd party contractors, I onboarded a PowerShell based application which was used to setup these users outside the AD console (including assigning RBAC groups to a 3rd party user).I successfully onboarded a WordPress powered site (GVC Internal Careers Page) into Okta SSO (Single Sign On). I also undertook monthly audits on the company’s transactional systems. I would then run reports on inactive accounts within the last month and then disable them
Iam Administrator
I owned the organization's IAM process, and ensured compliance with various standards i.e. ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials. I reviewed process and procedures for accuracy and effectiveness, and presented them to senior management for review and approval. I ran reports on group membership, O365 license allocation and ad hoc reports on last logins when needed. I have also onboarded a PowerShell based GUI, allowing users to be setup outside the AD console (ideal for DMZ servers).Another function I was responsible for was to deliver training on IT security to members of staff every two weeks. This has increased user awareness of IT security and how to work more securely. Finally, I have automated certain processes e.g. AD group membership reports, Ubuntu builds etc.
