I graduated in July 2024 with a BSc (Hons) 2.1 in Physics, and have recently started work as an Assistant Consultant at Noise Consultants Ltd doing noise mapping and modelling using softwares such as QGIS and Predictor.Some of the modules I have undergone were my Bachelor's Project (The Physics of Electric Guitar Tone), The Physics of Sound and Music, Quantum and Atomic Physics II and Practical Physics III.I studied A Levels in Physics (B), Maths (B), Chemistry (B) + Extended Project Qualification (A) at Winstanley College.I was a Prefect at Golborne High School and achieved 11 A*-C equivalent grades for my subjects.These are my hobbies and interests:Drumming.Song writing.Playing the guitar (I have been self-taught for 5 years now).Swimming - I am a very competent swimmer and took National Swim Plan lessons up to level 5 from a young age, as well as completing a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).Indoor rock climbing.Reading.Rambling all around the North West/Lake District in the summer.Below are some awards and extra-curricular courses I have achieved over my life so far:Building Acoustics and Noise Control (2024) by Chris Field on Udemy.Royal Society of Biology Challenge 2018 Silver Award.UK Junior Mathematical Challenge 2016 Silver Award.Outstanding achievement award from Golborne High School for Mathematics in 2015. It was awarded for being a top achiever in my House and year group for the academic year.Primary Mathematics Challenge 2012 & 2013 Silver Awards.Kumon Level H Mathematics Programme Award in 2014, whilst still in Primary School. Plus Level G in Primary Special Award in 2013.
