Mechanical Engineering Intern for Gas Technical Services - Worked closely with Gas Tech Engineers to complete projects in Central Illinois area. My key roles included:• Managed industrial gas meter set project in Peoria, Lincoln, and Springfield, Illinois• Formed weekly schedules of what gas meter sets to attend• Collected data on industrial gas meter sets throughout Peoria, Lincoln, and Springfield, Illinois• Mapped locations of industrial gas meter sets using Ameren Map Viewer• Entered all data collected into shared pdf documents• Communicated with security of customers to get access to gas meter sets

Engineering Intern in the Nuclear Lab at the Bureau of Materials for Illinois Department of Transportation - Assisted in nuclear gauge repairs and calibration for every district in Illinois. My key responsibilities included:• Prepared Nuclear Moisture and Density Gauges for Calibration• Performed repairs on Nuclear Gauges when damaged• Calibrated Nuclear Gauges due to source deterioration to ensure accuracy • Tested radiation exposure from Nuclear Gauge hot rooms for every district in Illinois to ensure safety• Recorded every gauge that arrived and left our facility, along with repairs made to gauge

Village worker for the village of Edinburg - Collaborated with village superintendent and other workers to maintain well operating utilities, including gas, water, and sewage systems for the town. Daily job duties varied greatly offering a wide variety of growth and learning opportunities.• Read meters to determine utility usage• Checked wells to verify functionality• Repaired water and gas leaks by clamping or welding• Took water samples at the wells to be tested• Tested water at the water plant for various chemicals to confirm it was safe for the public• Tested the water leaving the sewer plant to make sure it was not hazardous
