I am the Owner and Principal of Cronin Engineering and Inspection, we provide structural engineering services in Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. These include residential engineering services, commercial engineering services, and structural inspections.Our residential design services include new construction, renovations, additions, and foundation repair. We pride ourselves on providing efficient structural designs in a timely manner to allow for projects to remain on schedule. We strive to go above and beyond for our customers to allow for open and easy communication while meeting all of their design requirements. Our commercial design services include providing structural designs for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures. We work closely with the owner, architect, and contractors to ensure that all design requirements are met and the project remains on schedule and under budget.Our structural inspection services range from home inspections to inspections of commercial structures. They include foundation inspections, inspections following natural disasters, inspections of structures affected by water infiltration, and other forensic investigations. We strive to write detailed reports and turn around reports quickly.

I oversee manufacturing of unitized curtain wall at JR Butler. My responsibilities include keeping the manufacturing plant safe, producing quality goods, meeting a demanding production schedule, all while staying under budget. This is accomplished by efficiently procuring materials, working closely with customers to determine a manufacturing schedule, working internally to build standardized systems to understand output, and implementing lean manufacturing initiatives to decrease cost.I have been certified by the University of Kentucky in their True Lean program. I have used this certification along with coaching from UK staff and former Toyota executives to implement lean tools to JRB. Lean manufacturing has allowed JRB to produce excellent quality while meeting customer demand and decrease cost.Projects include unitized curtain wall on low, mid, and high rise buildings in Colorado and Texas. They include healthcare facilities, residential buildings, and office buildings. JR Butler performs the design, manufacture, and installation of unitized curtain wall which allows us to work together internally to create a product of high quality while meeting the schedule of our customers.

Production Engineering manager. Leading a team that creates programs for curtain wall extrusions to be run on our CNC's. Continually looking for ways to improve our machining processes as well as improve the curtain wall industry as a whole. I have also had experience with the design of JR Butler's unitized curtain wall system. This has included the structural analysis of the system, the in-place performance of the system, as well as modeling each project using Revit.

The project encompasses a 12-story office building, and a 9 story office building, as well as a 125,000-square-foot stand-alone service center. My responsibilities included structural steel and concrete design of both the gravity and lateral systems with emphasis on the lateral shear wall system.Sun Life Stadium, Miami, FL. Structural engineering & connection design for major renovations to Sun Life Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins NFL team and the University of Miami Hurricanes football team. My responsibilities included structural steel design and steel connection design of the box truss system supporting the stadium roof as part of the stadium renovations.U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN. Connection design of a 1.7-million-square-foot, 65,000-seat stadium designed to host NFL football, MLS soccer, NCAA basketball and baseball and other events. My responsibilities included steel connection design for both the gravity and lateral systems, with a large number of connections being required by the complex ETFE system used as skin on the exterior of the stadium.

Worked in Taiwan at the Lungmen Nuclear Power Plant performing seismic analysis on commodity supports. Used GTStrudl to perform seismic response spectrum analysis of simple frames in the power plant to assess their structural integrity and suggest field modifications when necessary. Led analysis team to perform seismic analysis using GTStrudl for design and verification. Responsibilities included approving and critiquing field modifications; as well as verifying that analysis was performed correctly.Led team in the field to collect necessary information including: additional loads on frame from attachments, as well as weld, member, and dimension verification.
