Through his time as a Traffic Engineer and Transport Planner he has built-up a range of specialist skills in consulting and developed crucial working relationships in State and Local Government. Luke has become proficient in areas including:- traffic analysis;- impact assessment & analysis;- travel demand management & planning;- project management & team leadership; and- considerable experience in transport modelling (with expertise in micro-simulation).Luke has been involved with Griffith University Gold Coast as a part-time traffic engineering lecturer and helped in preparing small mid-semester exams for the course. In previous projects Luke's demonstrated reliable management skills in preparing, undertaking and analysing entire databases, as well as sensible staff supervisory skills in the field. He takes pride in directing fellow staff members in a team situation whilst solving detailed technical issues, and has experience in coordinating with other agencies of different disciplines. In more recent times Luke has since moved into the role of Senior Traffic Engineer & Transport Planner and is performing well in the role.

Providing traffic engineering advice for the Land Management Team in regard to development applications affecting State Controlled Roads.

Worked with the DOH in Thailand throughout my degree learning the multiple disciplines associated with a transport oriented division, including:- materials testing;- asphalt batching;- road design;- pavement design;- civil works with different/active soils etc; and- was privy to some of the largest bridge projects in Thailand.
