I am currently working as part of the NEWest Alliance construction joint venture (CPB Contractors & Downer Group) Digital Engineering team on the Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie-Cockburn Link projects of the Perth Metronet.

Some of the work that I did at Isolinear included:• Using versions 2019 and 2020 of Tekla Structures.• Coordination of Navisworks models.• Uploading Navisworks BIM models to various stakeholders, keeping up to date with the most recent reference model files and implementing any changes.• Use of iConstruct to export models as IFC and DWG from Navisworks.• Identifying model clashes and creating clash report documents to send to stakeholders.• Communicating with engineers, project managers and steel fabricators to resolve issues. • Use of Twinmotion to render and animate scenes within completed projects and conceptual designs.• Transfer point cloud data from tablet to computer in various file formats, including E57.• Register and trim point clouds in Autodesk Recap.• Use of Trimble Realworks for scan to BIM capabilities (turning point cloud data into 3D objects and exporting as various file types, including IFC).• Positioning point clouds globally in AutoCAD, aligning with BIM models and combining into Navisworks models.• 3D modelled projects in Tekla structures.• 2D detailed shop drawings for fabrication, including back-drafting and checking of drawings.

I worked at FHSI in a work experience role whilst I was studying my Degree. During my time here I worked on various stages during the timeline of project proposals and concepts, including:• Working on 3D models in Rhinoceros.• Working on plans, elevations and sections in AutoCAD.• Helping to create physical models using foam core.• Extensively researching and gathering information for projects.• Using Adobe Photoshop to create maps, that were eventually used in AutoCAD and Rhinoceros.• Visiting sites and taking photos, then attaching the photos together in Photoshop, and importing into AutoCAD to trace over and used for scaled site elevations.

• Secured a three-month contract to work on an American project.• Created 3D general arrangement drawings using Tekla Structures and edited them whilst 3D modelling was still being completed; right up until completion of the phase.• Worked on the Lincoln centre, CA. North America. This means that I had to become familiar with the Imperial system instead of the Metric system. • The client for the steel fabrication of this project was Schuff steel. North America’s largest and most experienced structural steel fabricator and erector.

• Detailed 2D shop drawings for fabrication.• Three months experience using AutoCAD based ProSteel.• Some of the projects that I worked on at Austruct include:o Coles, Rivertono Halls Head Central shopping centre, Halls Heado New rail bridge, Fremantle

Completed a four year Cadetship in Structural Detail Drafting. The experience I gained whilst working at UGL Steelplan includes:• Working on various mining projects for BHP, Rio Tinto and FMG• Four years experience in versions 16, 19 and 20 of Tekla Structures• A wide variety of 3D modelling experience using Tekla including:o Transfer Stationso Head Endso Tail Endso Trusseso Trestleso Chuteso Concrete • Extensive 2D drawing editing in Tekla for shop fabrication• Creating Navisworks models for issue packages• Using AutoCAD for Profile and Data sheet setouts• Writing and sending RFI’s/TQ’s to Engineers• Checking of 2D drawings and making 3D model changes• Using Microsoft Office• Working individually and as part of a team• Working under high pressure situations• Delegation of tasks/workloads• Meeting deadlines whilst maintaining quality of work• Site visit to the Perth Arena during the construction stage
