I’m an American currently living in the uk on a family spouse visa, but will soon apply for indefinite leave to remain and citizenship. I’ve worked on both American and British led organisation wide change initiatives, driven by an investment in information technology tools and the development of best practice. My unique background has provided me with international experience managing, implementing and leading technical projects across an organisation and unifying operations and reports across individual areas of business that have conflicting needs and as-is practices.My background in economics and accounting has allowed me to sustainably manage IT projects, from accurately forecasting project cost and how this transitions to portfolio and program costs, to constructing business case submissions to include not only technical considerations, but medium to long term foresight. Im professionally invested in the growing presence of AI in all business sectors, and how to apply AI relevant to specific sectors with a focus on sustained productivity growth. I’m especially interested in the growing industry of AI consulting, and how technology professionals can guide organisations, both public and private, in understanding how AI is different from initiatives like automation or data transparency, along with consulting them around how AI can be best leveraged to help them meet short, medium, and long term goals. My focus also includes what steps an organisation needs to take before adding an AI element to their technical stack, including data cleansing and validation initiatives and development of appropriate use cases tailored to AI.
