Konza Prarie Biological Station

-Operate tractors, trucks, hay equipment, UTVs, and other farm equipment in a safe and responsible manner.-Build new fence as well as make repairs on existing fences. Fences include high tensile strength smooth wire, barbed wire, and pipe and sucker rod. -Care for and tend to Bison and Cattle herds.-Identify and spray for multiple invasive plant species.-Maintain, service, and repair all equipment-Grade and maintain miles of gravel roads-Assist in the burning of thousands of acres of prairie at different times of the year-Bale, pickup, and feed hay-Use shop tools such as welders, torches, grinders, saws, and other power tools in a safe and responsible manner.

-Deliver milk and ice cream on time and in an orderly fashion to dining halls, greek houses, and other retailers.-Clean and inspect all incoming milk crates and prepare them to be used again.-Clean and maintain the facility, including mopping and buffing the floors on a regular basis.
