I am an award winning podcast producer and I have close to 10 years experience in the audio and podcasting world and Sport is a big passion of mine. I'm a big football and cricket fan but also like watching F1, Snooker and Cycling and I am also a keen runner. I have worked at the BBC, as a freelancer, both at Five Live as part of the production team on Drive and at Radio Manchester. Recently I was the main producer for the relaunched weekend daytime show on Radio Manchester, sourcing guests and writing scripts, clipping interviews and doing montages as well as overseeing the live output of the show and working with the presenter. I get regular work on the award winning 606 radio show on Radio 5 live where my role consists of watching the games and also compiling the stats and scores for one of the divisions. Once this has been done I take calls for the radio show, It's my job to rate the caller to give the producer an idea of whether they would be good to go on air. I have also edited the podcast for the show in the past and the odd time I have been on air I have done this in a clear and confident way -
PresenterNon-League Full Time Jul 2017 - PresentI had an idea to present a podcast on the National League which is currently the 5th Division in the English football Pyramid, as well as it's North and South feeder divisions. Their is currently no recognized podcast covering this so I felt their was a gap in the market for this. Currently it is unofficial and it has taken over the NL Full time podcast which covered all divisions in the Non-League Pyramid. The discussion is around the action over the three divisions and we also have guests and interviews from the various football clubs The people I present with have a wide knowledge of the Three divisions which makes it informative and entertaining.The listening figures for the Podcast have increased week by week and I feel that it can be grown even further and become a very popular podcast.
