Employed as an accreddited BT D-Side cable jointer responsible for the installation, Repair and Maintanance of BT'S underground D-Side copper network this involved renewing, repairing and fault finding on cabling from 5pr-100pr from BT'S exchange's , PCP'S and into customers premises, provision of new services and removal of old underground cabling and overhead Telegraph poles subcontracting from Telent at yards in Basildon, Thetford and Coventry, left CASS to join a family run Electrical business and to progress my career further

Employed as an Accredited Overhead Poling engineer working on BT'S asset assurance programme, which invloved the renewal and installation of new and old defective Telegraph poles including the renewal and replacement of any aerial cables and drop wire and associated underground cabling working out of a yard in Chelmsford Essex subcontracting from Marconi and then from a yard in Brighton subcontracting from Mc Nicholas. P Clarke's contract finished in Brighton therefore I moved to a new contract local to home

Initially employed to assist with stock and stores allocation for engineers in the field carrying out fibre optical and data cabling installations , attended site with engineers and assisted with fibre and data installs then progressed to working on the BT Assest Assurance program as an Accredited Overhead Poling engineer working on BT'S asset assurance programme, which invloved the renewal and installation of new and old defective Telegraph poles including the renewal and replacement of any aerial cables and drop wire and associated underground cabling subcontracted from Marconi
