My role is to coordinate the engineers working in the field and to create a plan for where engineers need to be for the following day. On the day I am required to react quickly to operational issues such as engineer sickness or high priority work dropping in. I move engineers between different areas of the patch to ensure all customer expectations are met and the work due for the day is allocated. I am also required to keep on top of any failed work and push this work out as a priority to ensure customers out are of service for the minimum time possible.My role also involves speaking to engineers on a regular basis, so relationship building and communication are key.

My role involved receiving inbound phone calls from BT customers who were facing issues with their bills. Some customer queries could be complex and required additional investigation and problem solving.I had to remain calm and professional at all times even when some customers may have been very upset or angry. Good phone etiquette and communication skills were key to ensure success in my role.I also trained new starters and did some management cover during my time with BT.

I needed to delegate crew members throughout the day to ensure all stations were covered.I had to ensure high standards were adhered to and additional training given when needed.Ensure customers were satisfied and served quickly. This was done by ensuring I always had the right people in the right places and motivation was kept high.
