I've been lucky enough to be welcomed back into Seven after spending sometime away. Immediately starting from where I'd left off it felt like I had never been away. My previous knowledge of the business has enabled me to hit the ground running and has allowed me to help manage the business positively throughout the COVID-19 crisis to this point - time for the hard job now of getting things back to full steam ahead.

Managing the Operation at our Woolpit depot I'm tasked with refocusing the depots operational needs whilst improving day to day productivity. Having previously worked in Woolpit, I felt the knowledge I already have would suit the role and further improve the relationships our depot has with other internal departments. I have totally overhauled the operation at our Woolpit yard and implemented a full systems overhaul resulting in reduced waiting time at our container park whilst making our vehicles more productive. More changes on the horizon - I left Goldstar with Woolpit in very good shape and I wish all my past colleagues the best of luck for the future.

Managing the operation from our headquarters in Felixstowe, responsible for the planning and utilisation of vehicle resources whilst keeping costs under control before handing over to the transport team. I work hard to ensure that we meet the very highest levels of compliance, planning vehicles and equipment to meet their statutory requirements set out in line with our operating license. In a recent addition to my 17 years of industry knowledge I hold a full international CPC.

Day to day running of all own vehicle operations, managing the traffic desk whilst ensuring development of our transport department continues to meet the high level customer service that we pride ourselves on.

Started as Transport operator at Deben Transport HQ, soon realised I had more to offer in terms of management of people and customer alike. I progressed to Supervisor with 12 months and remained with Deben for a number of years until pastures new tempted me to try a new challenge.

Responsible for all container and general haulage operation from the Woolpit depot.

Looked after all the day and night vehicles whilst doing the back ground work.
