Providing Supervision over one Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) upgrading plant and one/two technicians for Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) projects at dairies across the country. Experience with compressors, electrical controls, PLC’s, gas meters, and machinery typical to the oil/gas industry. As the Plant Operations Manager wearing many hats acting as the safety, operations, and technical expert and providing necessary knowledge to solve problems and efficiently operate plants. Responsible for everything that happens or fails to happen at RNG upgrading plant throughout the construction of all the way through the operating and comissioning phases. Manage operating expenses and production within annual budget, and ensuring data collection necessary to register renewable attributes with appropriate governmental or private verifiers. Providing a sustainable and beneficial path for North American agriculture to reduce their greenhouse gas footprint and create a reliable income stream. The process digests cow manure, creating a biogas that is purified into pipeline quality natural gas that can be used in a variety of ways. The digestion of the manure mitigates the amount of greenhouse gases emitted from dairy lagoons.

My primary job function is to keep the packaging side of the transdermal manufacturing business running to ensure the site meets it’s production goals. Perform repairs in a time sensitive manner when a packaging line has any issues that arise and cause down time. Perform weekly, monthly, 6 month and yearly preventative maintenance schedules on a wide variety of equipment. Perform minor fabrication which includes introductory skills on the Mill, lathe, mig and tig welding to complete work orders in the SAP system. Provide minor electrical and Plc troubleshooting all while keeping safety a top priority. Prioritizing work orders with reactive down time issues taking first priority while still managing to complete scheduled Preventative maintenance and corrective action work orders too. Leading the team towards more successful and productive goals such as implementing better 6S practices, providing more training to other technicians after becoming an SME in the department.

Worked primarily in the coffee processing side of the business performing preventative and reactive maintenance on all systems in that area, which included troubleshooting and maintaining the Roasters, Grinders, Thermal oxidizers, Chain-vey transport systems, and chaff press system with minimal supervision. The work included mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC and natural gas systems. 50% of this work was at heights utilizing scissor and boom lifts. Also worked alongside various other team members to troubleshoot all aspects of any down time. Some basic tig welding repairs were performed when needed to keep equipment running, and worked within SCADA and MP2 CMMS systems too. And being an SME on all the equipment within the department and while being considered "Electrically Qualified" also started the Electrical Apprenticeship program through VTC and the State of VT I also Provided training to other technicians. All work performed had a strong emphasis on OEE and 6S practices while using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), MP2 and then switching to SAP. I also obtained my Natural Gas License with the State of VT, and my EPA universal License during this time. Performed: Annual Inspections of and Maintained Alternative Wastewater Systems. Troubleshot and diagnosed electrical and mechanical faults within the systems. Checked and recorded static and operating A/C and D/C volts at Control Panels, completed Amperage readings, along withSludge and Scum Measurements, changed out pumps and floats when necessary. Performed Field Testing of Turbidity, PH and DO. Filled out the required Service forms.Repaired and replaced pvc pipes.
