This role requires providing strategic leadership and technical expertise to the Professional Lines & Portfolio Solutions Global Claims Product. The classes of business which are included are: Cyber, Financial Institutions, Directors & Officers, and Professional Indemnity. Additionally, claims expertise is provided to the Portfolio Solutions Underwriting Product; a niche team providing capacity to broker facilities on a full follow basis. The role also includes overall responsibility for the global Cyber Incident Management team established in March 2023. This global team is dispersed across Australia, UK and the USA. They provide a 24/7 Follow-the-Sun service to Canopius primary cyber policyholders for the triage of cyber incidents, arrange assistance from our Cyber Response Panel, and project manage the incident. The establishment required a global search for talented individuals, new processes/systems, and the integration into our wider Claims capability.As part of the Global Claims Leadership Team for Canopius, I also oversee certain aspects for the benefit of claims as a whole with a particular focus on management of Claims' Legal Panel, Non Legal Panel, and Cyber Response Panel.
