Customer partnerships were nonexistent prior which grew Company / Customer bond profoundlyRan a Department of 8 techs, 4 Quality Leads, and responsible for overall quality of the entire two facilities. Took the facility from the #11 facility in Quality to #2 for 3 years running. Designed, Implemented, Trained and Directed a Shopfloor Online Quality System to be used by all floor personnel. System was able to eliminate 10 positions and improve productivity by all. Analyzed and compiled defective ware, downtime, and customer complaints to tie together a rolling top three issues and developed and ran team to eliminate them. We were able to bring down HFI by 43%, Customer complaints by 61%, and thus improving downtime by an average of 3 hours a day which equates to 320K savings a year. In total a minimum of 550K would be saved a year. Trained the entire facility on quality practices twice every year and had each individual complete a structure test to ensure full comprehension and reliability. Used Six Sigma tools on a daily basis to improve quality to predict issues before they would occur looking at data trends. Trained Quality Techs to evaluate this data on a hourly basis with the online software. Coordinated bottle trials to deliver quality products in compliance with engineering specifications per customer requests, needs, and improvements. Managed the Quality Departments budget for capital projects. Executed Quality Audits given by Anheuser Busch Certification, ASI, Pepsi, and our Corporate Headquarters. Was able to achieve and maintain the highest rating in all audits for my entire tenure at Constar. -
