HOBY NH is the New Hampshire branch of the international nonprofit. HOBY’s mission is to develop a global community of youth and volunteers who are dedicated to a life of leadership, service, and innovation by providing domestic and international leadership conferences.Director of Program responsibilities include developing a comprehensive curriculum for a three-day leadership seminar based upon the Social Change Model of Leadership Development, recruiting and managing Program Development Team, leading selection process for seminar speakers and activities, establishing learning outcomes, executing seminar logistics, ensuring special services of students are accommodated, and developing program evaluation.

Certified agency that contracts with the States of NH and MA to provide support services to adults and children with disabilities in a variety of capacities. Assist and support clients during their participation in meaningful activities that work towards individual program goals.

Work with team to support students as they manage campus and community living. Responsibilities include community building, conflict mediation, identifying and serving resident needs, connecting students with campus resources, event programming, and reporting college policy violations. As RA with one of the three highest GPAs, recipient of RA Academic Award in May, 2017 and May, 2019.

Part-time summer intern. Worked closely with staff to progress mission of the NHWF through participation in multiple aspects of the organization including research, advocacy, administrative tasks, and public relations. Completed original research for the 2018 Gender Matters Issue #2 regarding women running for public office in 2018.

Manchester, New Hampshire

Researched best practices for mentoring adjudicated youth. Produced 45-page research report with findings that were used to develop a sustainable mentorship model within the Sununu Youth Services Center (a secure residential treatment facility for adjudicated youth). Performed literature review, conducted interviews with successful mentorship programs across the USA, collaborated weekly with SYSC staff to discuss the center’s needs, and produced final research report. Grant funded by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.

Duties include managing and coordinating the legal and logistical components of sending Saint Anselm College students to volunteer at Sununu YSC. Responsibilities include training group facilitators, interviewing candidates, managing logistics for over twenty volunteers, orientating new volunteers to SYSC, performing monthly check-in’s, developing volunteer programs, addressing legal and individual concerns of the facility and volunteers, and upholding SYSC policy with all volunteers.

The mission of Project PLAY is to improve the lives of disadvantaged youth living in New Hampshire by promoting a healthy and safe lifestyle through involvement in organized sports. Project PLAY does this by paying for league registration fees and by providing necessary equipment to youth in need. Public Achievement is a program that strives to empower and foster actively engaged citizens in our democracy. It teaches concepts such as democracy, power, politics, public work, citizenship, and diversity through hands on projects where young people work to create positive changes in the institutions that shape their community. At Sununu YSC, I have worked with two groups consisting of six youth a group who have successfully brought changes to the facility's food program as well as the trust system through the use of democratic strategies.Public Achievement has been recognized as one of the best youth citizenship education efforts in the world. In 2007, it was named one of 15 finalists for the prestigious Carl Bertelsmann prize. Awarded annually since 1981, the international award recognizes “innovative approaches and outstanding ideas that help shape and further develop democratic societies.”

I was one of three ambassadors from the 2013 HOBY alumni class that were elected to serve on the Alumni Board. Board member responsibilities included planning community service, social, and fundraising events throughout the year for the nonprofit HOBY. Goals were to connect alumni across the state while promoting and fulfilling HOBY's core belief in leadership through service.
