• Underwent a week of intensive training in the macro and micro economic principals of the international property development industry• Created financial and project modelling tools used by Reall’s partners across Africa and Asia• Travelled to Nepal to create modelling tools in Microsoft Excel with a local partner to assess the financial viability of a large scale post-earthquake property development for the urban poor• Applied advanced mathematics to existing World Bank data to provide economic supporting data for Reall’s operations in a presentable format for Reall’s investors and donors• Developed a comprehensive project management process framework to be utilised across the global partner base

• Underwent four weeks of intensive training in London and Bangalore developing business communication skills and learning about business case studies at all stages of the V-model• Attained expertise in process maps; capturing the business processes around a high profile data delivery solution at a multinational insurance company • Liaised with technical leads across the solution streams in order to create highly detailed end to end process maps• Worked alongside the Target Operating Model team, communicating low level business processes up to a high level so that business effort could be calculated• Liaised with a global digital marketing analytics team to effectively standardise key performance metrics as part of an Intelligent Sales & Service Transformation project for a multinational banking and financial services company

Bristol

• Main point of contact between BVDA and LBA (Ugandan NGO)• Responsible for maintaining a working relationship with NGO via e-mails and Skype sessions, ensuring the agreements specified in the MoU are met and both parties are happy with them• Ensuring volunteers are prepared and comfortable with all training and other issues before project, offer any emotional counseling or personal advice on issues related to project and volunteers’ group dynamics• Overseeing and documenting Volunteers’ BVDA training and offering advice on specifics such as the completion of risk assessment forms and checking that all volunteer activity complies with BVDAS core strategies and goals• Delivering talks about volunteering projects in Uganda at prospective volunteer recruitment events

Uganda

• Underwent intensive training for a week on effective communication methods, teaching and construction skills• Spent 6 weeks in Uganda’s Manafwa district teaching in a primary school and engaging in construction work in schools, homes and water sources as part of a team of six volunteersMain roles within the team:• Delivered information talks/speeches to large adult audiences, most of whom were farmers, in the local community on water purification methods as well as other health and sanitation issues recognised by the WHO• Organised the planning and building of fuel efficient stoves in people’s homes and successfully lead a team of 6 in the actual construction of these stoves• Taught health and sanitation as well as mathematics and science in a primary school for children aged between 6 and 16 years
