Allow me to share a glimpse of my journey, accomplishments, and the driving force behind HRPURPOSE.About Me:As a visually impaired individual diagnosed with a mental illness, I navigated through challenges to become a trailblazer in the tech industry. After overcoming barriers in post-secondary education, I attained industry certifications, including Novell Certified Network Engineer and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Over two decades, I served in leadership and technical roles for the Federal Government, acquiring various certifications such as VMware Cloud Architect and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.Accomplishments:My story is a testament to what individuals with disabilities can achieve given the right support. With a desire to empower others, I initiated partnerships with the Ottawa Mission and Ottawa Carleton Life Skills organizations, successfully rehabilitating over 30 participants through halfway homes, life skills workshops, and job placement programs.Passion and Purpose:Driven by personal experience, my passion is to contribute to the disability care sector. I recognize the importance of ongoing support for sustained career success. Having faced the day-to-day struggles, I retired on medical grounds, reinforcing my commitment to fill gaps in support services through HRPURPOSE.HRPURPOSE - Making an Impact:Our charity, recognized by CRA, focuses on poverty relief and mental health programs.
