Recruited to pioneer a team primarily responsible to assess, identify, develop and recommend Lab sales opportunities for existing McKesson customers as well as new customers or products. Required engagement with key stakeholders to advance the growth within customer and product segments to include, Primary Care Account Executive, Primary Care Area Sales Managers, Lab Capital Equipment Team, Consultants, manufacturer partners and customers.

Responsible for the sale of point of care products in a 10 state territory. Performs field promotion and develops new accounts. Demonstrates products and/ or services and provides coaching in application of products. Coordinates product support and services to ascertain customer’s needs. Engages, trains, educates, and supports McKesson sales force including Account Managers, Area Sales Managers, Regional Vice Presidents, Corporate and Health Systems Field Vice Presidents. Identifies and develops new point of care opportunities, penetrate and retain existing business. Deliver effective sales presentations and conduct product training for physicians, lab technicians, and nurses. Providing effective office coaching for clinicians, office admin, practitioners, nurses, and lab technicians in the processes and solutions necessary to obtain business goals

Manage a territory covering Northeast Arkansas, Southeast Missouri, and Southern Illinois. Market capital equipment, medical supplies, and laboratory supplies to hospitals, clinics, and physical therapists. Establish professional relationships with physicians, administrators, directors, home health agencies, nurses, and other medical personnel. Develop and implement strategies for increasing opportunities to contact and meet with new referral sources through cold calling, presentations, and advertising. Submit accurate reports to management regarding daily sales activity and client database. Learn about operations and key support areas which lie outside the sales boundary to become knowledgeable of business before marketing products. Deliver effective sales presentations and conduct product training for physicians, lab technicians, and nurses.
