Responsible for leadership of the boiler assembly process, while maintaining a high level of focus on Efficiency, Safety, Quality and Delivery of Weil-McLain Products. Position Duties and Responsibilities:-Provide overall leadership for the Assembly department’s supervisors, leads and associates. -Participates as a member of the plant leadership team in determining strategy and direction for plant operations.-Create and deploy key process indicators for departmental performance and to support the facility’s goals and objectives and optimization of the various departments.-Provide leadership in lean manufacturing deployment to drive cultural transformation.-Ensure superior quality in the assembly process.-Coordinate activities among Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to meet, or exceed quality, cost, and delivery objectives -Provide direction for training and development of plant associates.

Responsible for the following aspects of logistics: global logistics, transport, warehousing and distribution, inventory maintenance, ERP planning, and scheduling. ▪ Managing and training of staff in all operations of logistics.▪ Prepare briefings and presentations on analytical findings for recommendations within operations.▪ Manage scheduling and carriers for multiple distribution centers.▪ Ensure appropriate and accurate shipping and storage of all freight, including transit of imports and exports.▪ Implement and maintain managerial programs and requirements along with analysis of internal work operations.

Responsible for the following aspects of the supply chain: sourcing, purchasing, transport, warehousing and distribution. Also involved in identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce the overall supply chain cost base.▪ Monitoring data management to keep accurate product, contract, pricing and invoicinginformation.▪ Working closely with suppliers and customers to improve operations and reduce cost.▪ Communicating needs & objectives to managers & key personnel in procurement, logistics &distribution.▪ Accurately calculating total supply chain costs in relation to proposed new projects.

Involved in all aspects of production from scheduling, purchasing, refining, inventory control, manufacturing, transportation. Act as a liaison between suppliers to staff, and assure that the transition from raw materials to finished merchandise happens within a timely manner, and within budget.▪ Managed project implementation, action items, and milestones in collaboration with logistics,operations, systems, HR, and production teams.▪ Planned and implemented move of entire operations from West coast to East Coast.
