Delivered nationwide marketing and business development for the firm, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Initiated and negotiated partnerships with prospective and existing clients. Secured numerous clients in the construction, infrastructure and resources sectors and helped to establish the firm as one of Australia's leading boutique law firms. Accountable for:- Setting up and meeting with prospective clients on a weekly basis- Liaising with nationwide heads of branches on marketing strategy for the firm- Establishing relationships within the construction industry to enhance the reputation of the firm- Securing speaking opportunities at key events within relevant sectors- Securing training contracts to be rolled out to new clients on topics including: Contract Administration, Variations, Delays & Extensions of time & Payment Claims.

Clerked numerous serious criminal trials at the Central Criminal Court and other Crown Courts around London, helping me to broaden my understanding of the English criminal justice system. Built on my personal and communication skills when liaising with clients and barristers at court. Accountabilities included:- Trial prep with managing Solicitors and trial Barristers.- Transcript and statement checking.- Co-ordinating and managing the use of interpreters for non English speaking clients.- Meeting and taking instructions from clients in court cells.- Liaising with the families of clients at court.- Strict note taking of all details discussed in trial hearings.

Joined Duncan Lewis immediately after completing my Law Degree and gained invaluable experience working in Britain's largest Legal Aid firm at the time. The firm opened two new offices in London, and I was responsible for the exposure of the firm in these new areas with prospective and existing clients.
