I am a fourth year architecture student at Columbia University and am passionate about exploring design solutions that enhance surrounding communities. My education has led me to analyze problems through a humanitarian and experiential lens that revolves around research regarding any targeted demographic. Through my educational and practical experiences, I've become well-versed in representation whether that be on the abstraction of client presentations and massing or on the specificity of technical detailing, and as a result, I thrive when working through processes that evolve through increasing specificity. From this, I have developed a deep understanding of various stages of the design process from analyzing surrounding and historical context and optimizing unit count to material detailing. Yet, finding justification for these intricacies often returns to the human experience, empathy, and understanding. Specializing in Computer Science, my interests also lie in architecture's relationship with technology and code, and I enjoy exploring the cooperative element that modern architecture practices have with automated sequences while engaging with the advantages and disadvantages of various software.As an aspiring and ambitious architect, I am committed to nurturing the relationship between structure and lived experience while developing my interest in technological and material innovations in the field.
