I worked as an extra set of hands for the orthopedic surgeons as well so I scrub into an operation and hold equipment for the doctors as they do knee and hip replacements. I learned what it looked like to work cooperatively on a medical team to deliver good patient care with a compassionate attitude.

I support current pediatric patients in the ICU and IMC at Inova Fairfax Hospital while I work with Child-Life staff to make sure the patients get distracted from the stress from hospital visits.

I worked alongside our youth pastor to develop teaching plans, practice public speaking, and lead a small group of 7 college students. This experience continued to shape the way that I see people and how necessary it is that they have people in their life to communicate with and counsel.

After delivering massive amounts of food to our patrons, you realize how important it is to communicate clearly as the middle man between servers and cooks. This fast paced environment showed me the importance of efficiency in the work place.
