I am an ambitious and dedicated volleyball coach with a proven track record in nurturing talent and achieving success at various levels of competition. Born in Long Beach, California, I kickstarted my academic journey at Goldenwest College in Huntington Beach, earning my Associate of Arts degree. My pursuit of excellence led me to Ottawa University, Kansas, where I graduated with a degree in Exercise Science, excelling both academically and athletically.Throughout my career, I've been honored with multiple accolades, including State Championship and First Team All-State recognitions at Golden West. At Ottawa University, Kansas, I earned the prestigious NAIA Newcomer of the Year award and received two All-American acknowledgments. Additionally, I was privileged to be named to the U22 USA Men's Beach Elite 10, an accomplishment that further fueled my passion for the sport.My coaching journey commenced at the University of Jamestown, North Dakota, where I served as a graduate assistant before returning to Ottawa University, Kansas, this time as the Head Coach—a role that allowed me to give back to my alma mater. Subsequently, I took on the responsibility of an assistant coach at Long Island University, Brooklyn, contributing significantly to our victory in the inaugural NCAA Division One NEC Conference Championship.Driven by a fervent ambition to coach at the highest echelons, I am committed to continuous learning, seeking to hone my skills while collaborating with esteemed colleagues and mentors. My ultimate goal is not only to elevate my expertise but also to instill the same passion for volleyball in the student-athletes I mentor.
